WordPress Plugin of the week this week is WP Instagram Widget.

What is it?

A simple little plugin that will add an Instagram Feed to your website via a widget.

Why do you need it?

Well you don’t strictly need it but it is a really easy way of adding an Instagram feed to your WordPress website. All you need to do is go to Appearance > Widgets > Instagram and drag and drop the widget into any widgetized area. There is one caveat though, it doesn’t come with any CSS so you’ll need to check your theme for support or write your own little snippet of CSS.

If you’re a student on one of our “Success with WordPress” courses (the paid ones) we provide some free styling and integration of this plugin for you.

If you are not, here is a little bit of CSS you can use for getting it to work in a sidebar for example:

.widget ul.instagram-pic {
  margin-left: -3px;

.widget ul.instagram-pics li {
  width: 33.3333%;
  display: inline-block;
  padding: 0;
  float: left;

.widget ul.instagram-pics li img {
  display: block;
  margin: 0;
  padding: 3px;

.widget p.clear {
  margin-bottom: 40px;

Which would look something like this…

How much does it cost?
