Hi everyone, I know you’ve excitedly browsed to my blog expecting a brand new post sharing my WordPress Cheat Sheet… well sorry you’re going to have to wait a little bit longer.
I’m changing my weekly blog posts from Friday to Tuesday.
Why Chris, Why?!
Well it’s three-fold.
- If I’m going to take holiday at all, its usually a Friday that I take off (I’m on holiday today actually) .
- If I write a juicy post that gets lots of attention and social sharing, if its a Tuesday I’ve got all week in office hours to reply to everything. If its a Friday – I get bombarded with comments and tweets either on a random day off or over the weekend.
- I like the idea of making Tuesday a little bit special, everyone is all about “Thank Goodness it’s Friday” or “I hate Monday” or “Hump day Wednesday”, but no one ever mentions poor Tuesday. Maybe Tuesday can be “Blog Post Tuesday”?
Next post coming up
I know I said this before, but the next post coming up will definitely be my WordPress Code Cheat Sheet, I promise – check your inboxes if you’ve signed up on Tuesday next week – it will be out by midday (GMT+1).

Oh, oh, oh, so you vote for a Fridexit.
Well, think about this: with a friday post your audience has the whole weekend to read and comment. On tuesday, they’re maybe less available for that.
Up to you.

Haha very funny! It’s changing to Tuesday for the above reasons, if people want to read the posts on a weekend, they still can!
